It’s almost embarrassing to watch them today, as it reminds me of how nutty I was about it. I look at the guys that I thought were so cute back then, and I don’t understand what I saw in them. Though I don’t watch music videos on MTV any longer, my husband turns on some videos on occasion. If it is up to me, I never watch music videos any longer, but if they are on and something good comes on I don’t mind going down memory lane. We might see some new stuff, and we also watch music videos from when we were teenagers.

Music and dance for years have gone hand in hand and will continue to do so long after we've left this earth. At least that would be the hope. If you want to keep your children dancing then you must teach them to dance. Teach them that dancing is a great way to express joy and that laughter is the best thing to follow their dance. Teach them that it is okay to dance and be silly around the house. That it is okay to dance their way through their chores (hey if it makes them smile while taking out the trash I say go for it!). I would hate to see what a world without dance would be like. It would be like having children without laughter and that would be a sad world in which to live.

Interesting information on 1999 music charts. Nowadays, I don't live anywhere near the San Francisco Bay region. Listening to streaming music online is a great joy.
